Take a look

Ninety seconds of bickering, bad decisions, and one teenager who is not impressed.

The Movie

What it's about

Murph and Taylor are two bumbling but big-hearted NYPD cops who have landed themselves on suspension. Their punishment: escort Lacey — a thoroughly unimpressed Gen Alpha teen — across the border to meet the father she barely knows.

What should be a simple road trip spirals into car trouble, mistaken identities, run-ins with the law, and Lacey's razor-sharp sarcasm. Then they stumble onto something bigger: a conspiracy tangled around Lacey's father that drags all three of them into a very dangerous, very funny mess. To get her home safe, this mismatched trio has to do the one thing none of them planned on — become a team.

😂

Genuinely funny

A laugh-out-loud buddy comedy built on great timing and characters you actually root for.

👨‍👩‍👧

Clean enough for everyone

No cursing, nothing to wince at — a movie you can put on with your kids and your parents in the same room.

🎭

Completely improvised

Every scene was found in the moment, giving the whole film a loose, real, can't-fake-it energy.

🚓

A cop comedy with heart

Underneath the mayhem it's a story about a makeshift family — and that's what makes it land.

The Story Behind the Film

A real cop. A real comedian. Fifteen years of laughs.

Orange Justice was co-written by Scott Baker — a former NYPD officer who traded the badge for the stage and became a comedian. He knows this world, and it shows in every joke.

Baker and Tom Malloy have been performing together for more than fifteen years. Their improvised cop comedy show Midtown found a real audience on Amazon back in 2009–2010, and the chemistry they built over all those years is the engine of this movie.

“This country needs a good comedy that families can actually watch together.”

That's the whole idea behind Orange Justice — a movie that's clean without being soft, and funny without ever needing to be crude.
